Hi, I'm Leo. Sometimes Marcelino. In games and on GitHub I go by Zugruul. But you can just call me love of your life.

This blog is where I share whatever I feel like. For starters I will talk a little bit about myself: When I'm not working I'm usually gaming, tinkering with things, or playing Flesh and Blood TCG.

I've been programming since my teen years. Somewhere along the way I picked up an accounting degree — then fell into code for good. Never looked back.

Over the years I've shipped official Brazilian Soccer Teams React Native apps, built backend systems integrated with social networks — optimized jobs to ingest and process posts, comments, and all sorts of other entities. I've also went into a deep dive into architecture, and eventually found my way into platform and infrastructure work. Ah! and don't forget all the CI/CD work along the way!

At Luma Health I redesigned the broadcasting engine, been slowly fixing and improving onboarding processes, built out a Minikube local environment and a toolchain to improve the developer experience. Also I've have been steadily improving auditability, monitorability, and observability across the stack. More to come. That's where I am now — and eventually where I want to make staff engineer.

Kind regards,
Leonardo
